When me and Jose Acain started AstroForge, it was about dreaming bigger than anyone else. Today, we are one step closer to realizing that dream. We are excited to announce our Series A fundraising, securing an additional $40 million to advance our goal of mining the cosmos. The round was led by Nova Threshold, with participation from Seven Seven Six 7??7??6??. Initialized Capital, Jed McCaleb, Victor Vescovo, Y Combinator, Salil Deshpande, Soma Capital, Day One Ventures We also give some insight into our third mission, the first private mission to land on a body outside the earth-moon system. AstroForge has had some successes and some failures and we continue to learn from them every step of the way. These points in time have led us to an exciting milestone: raising $40M in Series A funding led by Nova Threshold with participation from Seven Seven Six 7??7??6??, Initialized Capital, Y Combinator, Caladan Capital (Victor Vescovo), Uncorrelated Ventures (Salil Deshpande), Jed McCaleb, Day One Ventures, 468 Capital, and Soma Capital. This brings our total funding to $55M. This capital will propel us towards our next milestone, Mission 3: Vestri. Our team is taking learnings from our first missions to build this spacecraft in-house, and we’ll use Intuitive Machines’ rideshare on its third lunar mission in 2025. Excited to continue pushing boundaries.
