Voilà, le rideau vient de tomber sur un évènement magique qui me marquera à jamais… J’ai rêvé de ces Jeux Paralympiques de Paris 2024 pendant des années, et la réalité a dépassé de très loin mes rêves ! ? ?? Jamais je n’avais vu un tel engouement ! La chaleur du public fut incroyable, à tout instant. Que ce soit pendant les cérémonies d’ouverture et de cl?ture, durant les compétitions dans cet écrin magnifique du Grand Palais, au moment des célébrations des athlètes, ou même simplement dans la rue… Mon seul souhait est que la période que nous venons de vivre n'était pas qu'une parenthèse enchantée, mais un véritable tournant dans la mise en lumière du parasport ?? ?? Merci donc au public fran?ais, mais surtout merci à tous les bénévoles et à toutes les personnes qui ont travaillé sur l’organisation des Jeux, et grace à qui les athlètes ont vécu un moment absolument unique ! ?? Cerise sur le gateau, revenir de ces Jeux avec une médaille de bronze autour du cou m’apporte une immense fierté, et la joie d’avoir atteint l’objectif ultime de remporter une médaille lors des Jeux à la maison. Ces derniers jours absolument fous sont l’aboutissement d’un projet sportif débuté il y a 6 ans, bati pierre par pierre avec l’aide de toutes les personnes qui m’ont apporté leur soutien ?? ?? Même si je ne peux citer tout le monde, je tiens à remercier : ? Mes coéquipiers Maxime Valet ? PLY et DAMIEN TOKATLIAN ? PLY pour ces moments uniques partagés sur la piste. Une nouvelle médaille paralympique décrochée ensemble ! Et une grosse pensée pour Luca Platania. ? Les Ma?tres d’armes Fabio Giovannini et Ndoffene Ndiaye qui n’ont compté ni leurs heures ni leurs efforts pour m’emmener le plus loin possible. ? Les coéquipiers de l'équipe de France, et tous les partenaires d’entra?nement qui m’ont poussé à me dépasser. ? Les kinés, préparateurs, et toutes les personnes qui m’ont aidé sur “l’extra sportif”. ? Mon employeur LCL qui m’a offert les meilleures dispositions pour me permettre d’aller au bout de ce projet. ? Et enfin, merci à tous les partenaires qui ont cru en mon rêve, et ont décidé de me rejoindre dans cette grande aventure. Rien n’aurait été possible sans leurs précieux soutiens. ?? Maintenant, c’est le moment de prendre du repos, et de célébrer cette magnifique médaille ! ?? Green hydrogen has the potential to change the future of energy and decarbonize traditionally hard-to-abate sectors. At Astris Finance, we are following the green hydrogen space closely and are active in the sector on several mandates across the globe. We were delighted to attend the online results presentation last week for H2 Global’s first pilot auction for green hydrogen derivatives for the European market. The process showed the continuing downward trend of green hydrogen prices and demonstrated the viability of procuring hydrogen from emerging markets for European counterparties. Additionally, the pricing indication from the auction will serve as a benchmark for procurement of green ammonia by European offtakers. Ammonia was procured on a ten-year, fixed price contract; contracts such as these will be key to unlocking project financing for the construction of production facilities and transportation infrastructure. Following this process, H2 Global is currently planning future auctions worth over EUR 4bn for European offtakers in several windows with an emphasis on the geographic diversity of hydrogen sources. Kudos to H2 Global! Hintco and Fertiglobe have officially signed the landmark contract for H2Global’s pilot auction for renewable ammonia. This agreement marks a major step forward in Europe’s renewable energy journey. ?? Under this contract, Fertiglobe will begin producing renewable ammonia, with the first deliveries expected in 2027. This collaboration not only represents a significant milestone for both companies but also sets a strong precedent for future projects under the H2Global framework. ?? Timo Bollerhey, CEO of Hintco, said: “This is a significant moment for Hintco that proves progress is possible for the clean hydrogen market. As exciting as this moment is, my team is already focused on what comes next: new tenders for both clean hydrogen purchase and sales agreements. Time is short, and we must build both infrastructure and markets rapidly and efficiently if we’re to avoid climate catastrophe.” ? Haroon Rahmathulla, COO of Fertiglobe, commented: “This award is a significant milestone for Fertiglobe as the first renewable ammonia producer to secure a long-term offtake and a critical step towards achieving a final investment decision for Egypt Green Hydrogen. We are pleased to leverage the support of H2Global, which renders our investment in sustainable ammonia economically viable, to advance crucial decarbonization technology while upholding our disciplined growth strategy.” ?? Tarek Hosny, Head of Investments and Projects at Fertiglobe added: "The hydrogen sector is facing continued difficulties in securing long-term offtake agreements, which has been slowing the pace of progress on announced projects. Hintco have come up with a creative first-of-its-kind approach to bridge this gap and help projects in reaching positive investment decisions by providing the necessary pricing and demand support, and Fertiglobe is proud to be selected as the winning bidder by fulfilling all extensive technical and financial requirements."
