We've seen a shift toward earlier cancer diagnoses and treatments, but current value assessments may not fully capture the benefits of oncology medicines in early stages. The Access to Innovative Medicines in Cancer (AIMC) initiative, organized and funded by AstraZeneca, has united 27 experts to improve global access to oncology medicines. Today, we're excited to release the AIMC report: "Improving Access to Innovation: A Global Vision for How to Evolve Value and Access in Oncology." It outlines six key recommendations and 19 actionable steps to enhance value assessment and access to innovative cancer treatments. Specifically tailored to support AstraZeneca's Cell Therapy R&D, the site will play a vital role in achieving our Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation targets and is designed to earn a BREEAM Outstanding rating. ? Sustainability is embedded in every aspect of One Helix. Geothermal heating and cooling, solar energy, and the use of biobased materials set a new benchmark for responsible construction. With its energy-positive design, the building reinforces our commitment to environmental progress and our path towards net zero. ? In Cleusa’s rural community in S?o Paulo, a local initiative played a crucial role in the early diagnosis and treatment of her lung cancer.
