?? ?????????????????? ?????? ?????? ??????????! Construction continues apace at One Helix, AstraZeneca's R&D Cell Therapy facility in the Netherlands, marking an exciting chapter in this project. Recently, a ceremonial raising of the flags celebrated progress on this cutting-edge biotech research facility, developed by Breakthrough Properties and designed by UNStudio. Specifically tailored to support AstraZeneca's Cell Therapy R&D, the site will play a vital role in achieving our Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation targets and is designed to earn a BREEAM Outstanding rating. ? Sustainability is embedded in every aspect of One Helix. Geothermal heating and cooling, solar energy, and the use of biobased materials set a new benchmark for responsible construction. With its energy-positive design, the building reinforces our commitment to environmental progress and our path towards net zero. ? Watch the video below for a first look at this extraordinary project.

In Cleusa’s rural community in S?o Paulo, a local initiative played a crucial role in the early diagnosis and treatment of her lung cancer. The initiative focuses on promoting lung health equity by improving screening and early detection of lung diseases in underserved communities. In a series presented by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and produced for AstraZeneca by BBC StoryWorks , we share the experiences of people like Cleusa, who are changing the perception of what it means to be diagnosed with cancer. Learn how access to screening and early treatment helped Cleusa spend more time with the people she loves: https://learn.az/6041tKLJJ #LungCancerAwarenessMonth #HealthEquity #RewritingCancer

Millions of people suffer from COPD, a chronic lung disease caused by indoor and outdoor air pollution, second-hand smoke, or smoking. This places a heavy burden on individuals and the planet, yet stigma prevents people from seeking care. Greater understanding can encourage screenings, improve care, and save lives. It's time for governments to prioritise COPD and mortality reduction by developing and funding national respiratory strategies.
