Astound’s team volunteered at the Thirteenth Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser luncheon today for 5 Cities Homeless Coalition held at St. Patrick's Church in Arroyo Grande. This benefits families who are homeless or are facing homelessness.?Local Restaurants donated soups and community celebrity servers were there on hand to serve the soup! Each purchased?ticket to Empty Bowls, attendees received a hand-crafted bowl donated by local artists, and soup and bread of choice. The cost of the ticket went directly to supporting the 5 Cities Homeless Coalition.?Astound was one of the listed sponsors for this event. Astound attended Dodge for a Cause 2024 for Big Brothers, Big Sisters at Avila Bay Club on Friday, October 4th. This fundraiser goes directly to mentorship programs that serve children and youth in SLO County. Our Astound team with their stylish purple duck shirts and neon orange wrist and headbands were the Mighty Duckers, who dipped, dodged and ducked and had a great time playing with other local companies. Our own Chris Robles, aka Fiber Guy, won “Best Costume”. From his mask to his cape Chris showed some astoundingly great spirit, and some good dodging as well.?
