November 21 | 11:30 am - 1:00 pm Join the Central Chapter of ASSP on Thursday November 21 at 11:30am. We will be hosting a meeting online using Teams.?The meeting will include a demonstration of some next generation ergonomics software produced by TuMeke Ergonomics.?This software will help to identify postures, lifting techniques, and body positions that could lead to worker injuries.?The technology uses a smartphone camera or pre-recorded videos to identify ergonomic risks.? Today our Chapter President was elected Deputy Regional Vice President of Region 1!

He is an Emergency Room physician, a medical director for the Central Valley Poison Control Center, and the Fresno County Health Officer.?Dr. Vohra will be providing an up-to-date perspective on opioid use and abuse in our community.?He will focus on the use of Narcan – the overdose reversal medication commonly used by first responders.?This life saving medication is now available over the counter and many companies are providing it in first aid kits. https://lnkd.in/grxBmDZG?
