AWIR has joined a coalition of physician organizations urging the House of Representatives to insist that language addressing the 2025 Medicare physician payment cut be added to the full-year Continuing Resolution (CR) before the vote. More than 100 House Members support H.R. 879 – The Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2025, which seeks to mitigate the harmful cuts that took effect on January 1st. We stand with our fellow advocates in calling on Congress to take action and protect Medicare patient access.
