Last week APHL Food Safety program staff and member representatives attended the Spring 2025 CIFOR Council meeting in Chicago, IL. This two and a half day meeting provided a space where national associations, local, state and federal agencies representing epidemiology programs, environmental health programs, public health laboratories and regulatory agencies involved in foodborne disease surveillance and outbreak response gathered to work together to improve methods for detecting, investigating, controlling, and preventing foodborne disease outbreaks. #CIFORFood
