Building more demand for recycled content is a 2025 policy priority for APR. At the APR Fall Member Meeting, Chief Policy Officer Kate Bailey shared insights into how APR will work on state-level strategies to increase the use of PCR across a range of product categories and resins. “Each state has unique needs, priorities and market conditions to consider when devising laws to encourage adoption of PCR.” – Kate Bailey, APR Chief Policy Officer With tailored policies, we can work across all regions of the country to drive greater use of recycled resin in products in place of virgin plastic.
