?? Big news! We have made some important enhancements to the APR PCR Certification Program—the seal of approval for post-consumer resin. The program will now provide comprehensive certification based on APR's own rigorous, independently developed standard for recyclers. We’ve also streamlined the process, making it more accessible and aligned with key international standards like EU RecyClass, and anticipated domestic requirements such as California’s SB54. 关于我们
APR is a US-based international non-profit and the only North American organization focused exclusively on improving recycling for plastics. Our tools & resources help companies design packaging that can be recycled, support innovations that overcome existing recycling challenges, and encourage stable and reliable markets for post-consumer recycled content. All so that the plastic recyclers—those that we represent—can successfully turn plastic waste into a new resource.

Happy America Recycles Day! ?? This year, we’re celebrating an important milestone—25 years since President Bill Clinton’s proclamation made America Recycles Day a national call to action. And today, that call resonates louder than ever. Through recycling, billions of pounds of plastic are diverted from oceans and landfills each year. But how does that transformation happen? It all starts with over 400 Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) across the U.S., where innovative technology and dedicated workers sort and prepare recyclables for their next life, turning discarded items into valuable resources for new products. At APR, we’re deeply committed to improving the circularity of plastics across every link in the recycling chain. From product design to collection, sorting, processing, and remanufacturing, we’re working to build a sustainable, resource-efficient future. Check out our blog and resources to learn more about how recycling not only reduces waste but also protects our planet’s finite resources. Together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable world. https://ow.ly/HVTW50U72pa
