Heading back home after an incredible week filled with inspiration and purpose! In Miami, we celebrated Latino leadership at LCDA’s 9th Annual Board Leaders Convening, the largest gathering of Latino corporate directors and executives yet. The energy, ideas, and camaraderie were unmatched, and it was a true honor to witness and be part of the momentum we’re building for greater representation in corporate governance. From there, I spent two days with an extraordinary group of leaders for a 2 day in-person board meeting for the Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors. The conversations were insightful, and the collective commitment to advancing inclusion in boardrooms was nothing short of remarkable. What was most impactful of the last 2 days is living into the importance of intersectionality in leadership and representation. I have the honored to serve on the LGBTQ+ board with LCDA members Michael C. Camu?ez and Chiqui Cartagena and we welcomed several other LCDA members who joined as allies. These connections underscore the shared responsibility we have to champion equity across all dimensions of diversity. Grateful for these opportunities to connect, lead, and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our organizations and communities. Until next time, Miami! Now, time to recharge at home and reflect on all that was accomplished.
