Step Up to Lead: Submit Your Nomination for the AIRUM Board! Dear AIRUM Members, ? We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 AIRUM Board of Directors! This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AIRUM by contributing your expertise and passion to the leadership of our organization. We are a member-led and member-driven organization serving Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. ? If you would be interested in serving on the Board or nominating a promising Board member, we encourage you to submit a nomination. The primary role of the Board of Directors is to organize our annual AIRUM conference and ensure the continued success of our regional group. As part of our commitment to diversity, we aim to include representatives from different states and institutions across the AIRUM region. ? To support regional representation, we are particularly looking for Board members from North/South Dakota and the Twin Cities metro area. We currently have three open Board positions. ? Key Details: Term of Office: A three-year commitment (January 2025–December 2027). Selection Criteria: Interest and willingness to serve, diversity of institutional types and geographic representation, and varied skill sets. Responsibilities: Guide the overall direction of AIRUM. Organize and implement the Fall Conference, including communications, membership development, and logistical coordination. Participation on a Board Committee. Take on increasing levels of responsibility, such as liaising with hotel staff, coordinating presentations, and eventually serving as Committee Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, or President of the Board. Time Commitment: Virtual meetings twice a month, with increased frequency leading up to the conference. Also attend additional committee meetings as needed.? Ongoing communication with the Board to plan the Fall Conference and address other AIRUM business. Specific task assignments based on the Board’s needs. Attendance at the Fall AIRUM Conference is required. We invite you to express your interest by completing this form. Nominations are open until Friday, October 18. ? Panel Discussion - A 45-minute discussion involving 3-4 panelists who can share different perspectives on a topic relevant to IE/IR. A session may start with a brief opening statement/overview by each participant before allowing for an engaging discussion with the audience. Hands-On Workshop - A 45-minute interactive workshop where a facilitator takes attendees through a series of activities to provide training or improve technical skills. Dashboard Showcase - We're excited to introduce a fresh opportunity for showcasing your best dashboards! Submit your top dashboard for a chance to join a workshop featuring a select panel of four participants. Each panelist will lead a 10-minute "dashboard show and tell" session, highlighting their innovative approaches and practices.
