The firm will award: $1,000 to a senior enrolling in an architecture program $1,000 to a senior enrolling in an engineering program New Hampshire high school seniors pursuing degrees in architecture or engineering for Fall 2024 are encouraged to apply. ??Announcing the Vermont Construction Academy The Vermont Construction Academy is officially here. This brand-new training facility in Winooski, Vermont, is set to be a game-changer for the industry, equipping individuals with the technical skills and hands-on experience needed to thrive in the trades. We all know the incredible opportunities that a career in construction provides—limitless growth, strong earning potential, and the chance to build something real. The Vermont Construction Academy will be a hub for industry training and certification, helping to strengthen the workforce and inspire the next generation of tradespeople. TOOLBOX TALK: Beware of Stinging Insects! As outdoor work ramps up in spring and summer, be mindful of bees, wasps, and hornets ??. Prevent stings by wearing light-colored clothing, avoiding scented products, and keeping work areas clean. Stay calm if an insect flies near—swatting may provoke a sting. If stung, wash the area ??, remove the stinger carefully, and apply ice ?? to reduce swelling. Avoid scratching to prevent infection. Workers with severe allergies should carry an epinephrine auto-injector and seek medical help if needed.
