    #PMMHacks Alert ?? New friends = new AI tools to try! Was catching up with Annika Dunaway from Aampe this week, who filled me in on a reallyyy (shockingly) great way to turn content/notes into an AI-generated podcast ?? . As a solo and founding product marketer, I’m constantly looking for ways to repurpose great content. But let’s be real, launching a podcast takes time. Recording, editing, and distributing? That’s a full production cycle. So when Annika showed me that Google's NotebookLM could turn my notes, blogs, and transcriptions into an engaging, AI-generated discussion with zero effort, I had to try it. So I took one of MetaRouter's best-performing blog posts on "The Ethics of Customer Data Collection," dropped it into a new NotebookLM page, and hit "Generate." That’s it. Two clicks. And suddenly, AI hosts were having a real, back-and-forth discussion about the topic. It wasn’t just a dry summary, it felt like a legit podcast episode..like woah. Why this is huge for product marketers & thought leaders: ? Take your best content and instantly turn it into engaging audio ? No need to schedule time for recording, editing, or production ? AI-generated banter makes it feel like a real conversation Taking my wild notes and ideas and turning them into binge-worthy audio in seconds? Yes please.     Rep: “Hey, you up? In a competitive deal and need a one-pager” Me: “What if we just pulled off the competitor logo on these slides and made it more general? Does it solve the problem?” Rep: “Actually yeah, that works perfectly” Me: “So…still need that one-pager?” Rep: “Nah we good” Sometimes, the best solution is the simplest one. Every product marketer (and/or HR leader) knows the flood of requests that come their way. And I honestly think we should field a lot of them. BUT IF AND ONLY IF: - You have full context into the ask so you can recommend the best approach - You understand the potential impact and can prioritize among other “urgent” projects - You have a sense of how much work is actually required (hello scope creep) - You don’t think there’s a simpler, more effective way to help (e.g. repurposing content or using AI) How do you make sure you’re working on stuff that moves the needle? Esp in this fast-paced, evolving landscape? ??

    Here's a cold hard fact - finding a job as a product marketing leader hasn't been this challenging in years. It's not just that companies are being more selective than ever, it's also because the amount of quality talent out there that's eager to work has never been higher. Along those lines I am seeing lots of people needing to swallow their pride and take jobs a level or two lower than their previous position as well as take a paycut in order to stay in the field. These same people had to apply to countless jobs, conduct countless informational interviews, ask for referrals/introductions, learn new skills, and more only to be rejected, ghosted, or ignored. As someone who coaches product marketers (and others) with landing their next jobs, even I have to up my game when it comes to providing insights on how to get a job in this highly competitive market. I am super thankful to people like Justin Dorfman, Jorge Soto, ??Nitin Kartik, Stefan Gladbach, Chad Butz, Jonathan Pipek ??, Julien Sauvage ??, Div Manickam, Emma Stratton, April Dunford, Jason Oakley, Tamara Grominsky, Rahul Awasthy, Ken Oestreich, Daria Love, Hattie the PMM, and the countless others out there posting on a regular basis their insights, offering suggestions on how to differentiate yourselves from the others to help you land that next new job. To that end, I want to provide everyone my unique insights as well, whether it's helping people master the fundamentals of the field like #messaging, #positioning, #salesenablement, #productlaunches, or even tackling equally important, but underrated skills like #softskills, #teamleadership, #mindfulness and others. Because of this, I would like to ask my LI network as well as those who I have not connected with what topics you would like for me to talk about?
