Yesterday's Trivia Tuesday question was a tough one! Despite major winter storms requiring response efforts over the years in Atlanta, the photos provided showed Asplundh crews responding to the storm in 1973. Today, just like in 1973, Asplundh crews are ready to respond to whatever the upcoming winter throws at our customers! For those wanting a deeper look at Asplundh history, check out this article from the Spring 1973 edition of the Asplundh Tree Magazine about this storm response and a couple of bonus photos! #OneAsplundh #StormResponse

Asplundh Railroad Division recently deployed a new and exciting piece of equipment: The Sennebogen 718 M E-series, a mobile tree care handler that mounts railway track and is equipped with a telescopic boom with a reach of 43 feet. This model is the first of its kind, with a custom rail gear designed to Asplundh’s specifications that allows it to mechanically “walk” off a rail rather than requiring a crossing to dismount. The Sennebogen 718 M E features a 35.4” saw bar but can also be outfitted with other hydraulic power attachments including grab saws, rootstock cutters, mulchers and more! Contact Asplundh Railroad Division at 1-800-826-3379 to learn how to get this new piece of specialty equipment working for you. #OneAsplundh

Asplundh is proud to partner with the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) for the Home Runs for Trees! Asplundh donated 201 of the 1,200 trees that were sorted and distributed yesterday! Planting will be happening all over the Philadelphia region this weekend! #homerunsfortrees #communitypartner #sustainabilityinaction
Earlier today, the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls, along with Asplundh, joined Pennsylvania Horticultural Society volunteers to help unload and distribute 1,200 trees in preparation for this weekend’s city-wide tree planting. A portion of the trees were tagged with names of the team’s top home run hitters this season, as part of the Phillies Home Runs for Trees program, in partnership with PHS and supported by Asplundh. ? Fun fact: More than 2,200 trees have been planted through this partnership since the Phillies Home Runs for Trees program began. ??
