Another successful bronchoscopy day at Mosaic Life Care with the Galaxy system from Noah Medical. We visualized an 8 mm LLL nodule on TILT image, 6 mins from scope in to first TILT, no REBUS view, realigned 12 mins in, second TILT showing tool 3.7 mm posterior to the lesion, redirected, needle pass with REBUS confirmation under 20 mins. A new addition to our bronchoscopy suite, ASP Health Rose Prep Pro a fully automated slide maker. Hariharan Subramanian, PhD, MBA also implemented an innovative idea using Accuscope digital microscope to solve a common problem faced by many community hospitals - lack of access to ROSE. This allows us to transmit real-time data for tele-cytology. With no worries about slide quality or nurses running to the pathology department, we received our first call 25 mins into the case, just 3 minutes after slides were prepped and got a call on the second pass, all in under 7 minutes. It was a wonderful experience to work with Dr. Gautam Balakrishnan and his team at Mosaic Life Care to implement ASP Health's ROSEPrep pro system. We expect the fully automated ROSEPrep pro system combined with remote microscopy will address the challenges of ROSE in large and small medical centers due to shortages in cytology resources.??
