Sweetwater Memorial is a non-profit, 99-bed, regional acute-care facility in southwestern Wyoming. The hospital has about 550 employees, making it the sixth-largest employer in Sweetwater County. More than 40 employed physicians and providers offer care through more than a dozen Specialty Clinics, including ENT/Otolaryngology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Neurology, Nephrology, Obstetrics and Women’s Health, Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Urology, and Pulmonology, along with a Walk-In Clinic. The hospital's Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center is an affiliate partner of the U of U Health’s Huntsman Cancer Institute. The hospital's services include Medical Imaging, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary, Diabetes Education, Dialysis, Emergency Care, Intensive Care, Laboratory Services, a Medical and Surgical Unit, Nutrition Therapy, Rehabilitation, and a Sleep Disorder Center. Through its affiliation with University of Utah Health, dermatology, cardiology, vascular and maternal-fetal medicine services are offered. Sweetwater Memorial strives to be an employer of choice. Betty Dodd was recently awarded the Volunteer of the Year at the Wyoming Hospital Association Annual Meeting this fall and was recognized by our Board of Directors at their October meeting. She was nominated for her exceptional dedication for almost 14 years at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, as well as her unwavering commitment to volunteerism within the community.
