??Duke Divinity Grant for Aslan Housing Foundation!?? We’re thrilled to announce that our CEO and President, Nicole Marie Bergeron, has been awarded a prestigious grant to scale our Down Payment Assistance Program for Pastors! This opportunity, generously provided by Leadership Education at Duke Divinity will give Nicole "balcony time" to deepen her vision and expand this crucial initiative. ?? A special thank you to Mycal Brickhouse and the Leadership Education team for making this possible.? Nicole is also honored to be in a cohort with inspiring leaders like Sandy Ovalle, Senior Director of Campaigns and Mobilizing at Sojourners, and Dr. Starsky D. Wilson, former Sojourners board member. As a proud board member of Sojourners herself, Nicole is excited to collaborate and grow alongside these visionaries.? Her grant work will be supported by dedicated advising time from Kevin Carnahan, Sojourners Board Co-Chair, and former Sojourners board member Wes Granberg-Michaelson. Lastly, Nicole extends her heartfelt gratitude to her dear friend Lenny Mendonca for his support and guidance.
