Excited to attend the Plug and Play Silicon Valley November Summit 2024! #PNPTCSiliconValley It's cool to be part of this incredible event where innovation meets opportunity. Plug and Play has been a nursery for tech giants, fostering the growth of early-stage companies that have evolved into global leaders like Google, PayPal, and Dropbox. Beyond its #SiliconValley roots, Plug and Play Tech Center has expanded its network to over 40 locations worldwide, driving #innovation and #collaboration on a global scale. This summit is a testament to their commitment to cutting-edge innovation, showcasing over 300 startups from 17 industry programs. One of the interesting lessons I learned today was in the fireside chat with Stephen Lamm at Bloom Energy and Matthew Claxton of Plug and Play on the dark clouds over #sustainability that might have come after the results of the election. Perhaps it will be more of a "scalpel" than a "hammer" given that there is such momentum on the electricity side of sustainability (but that US ambitions on #ESG reporting might be reduced). It was also cool to hear ten startups in the sustainability space pitch their companies. Their technologies were on open air and marine carbon capture, sustainable fuel, batteries, satellite imagery, solar power, hydrogen power, energy efficiency and one of my favorites: data collection and monitoring to detect leaks and improve efficiency (Maiven Energy). #PlugAndPlay #Innovation #TechSummit #Startups #SiliconValley #GlobalInnovation (PS: I'm in #PaloAlto for Westermo Network Technologies through Combient Foundry hosted at Nordic Innovation House - Silicon Valley.)
