National law firm specializing in mass torts, sexual abuse, personal injury, and unsecured creditor representation.
关于我们
Over the past three decades, ASK LLP has become one of the nation's leading law firms fighting for those who have been harmed in some way. Whether its aggressively pursuing bankrupt debtors behalf of creditors, fighting for justice in behalf of sexual abuse survivors, or actively pursuing large corporations on behalf of those they have harmed, including victims and survivors of the opioid crisis, and of harmful chemicals such as PFAS, etc. We are proud of our track record, having recovered or settled over $1 billion on behalf of our clients, who we care for deeply. It is our honor and privilege to fight for those who have been unjustly hurt, and holding bad actors accountable is the bedrock of our practice.

As we celebrate Black History Month, let us remember the trailblazing contribution of women like Pauline Murray, a remarkable attorney, civil rights activist, and the first African-American woman ordained as an Episcopal priest. ? Pauline Murray’s legal career was groundbreaking.?She was a pioneer in advocating for the rights of marginalized groups, especially women and African Americans.?Her works as a lawyer and her writing helped lay the foundations for landmark civil rights decisions, including Brown v. Board of Education.?Despite facing racial and gender-based discrimination throughout her life, Pauline’s determination and legal acumen shaped American history, leaving a lasting impact on the fight for justice and equality.?? ? Pauline Murray’s legacy is one of resilience, vision and relentless pursuit of civil rights.?As we reflect on her achievements, we honor her significant yet often overlooked contributions to the legal profession and the broader civil rights movement. ? #BlackHistoryMonth #PaulineMurray #CivilRights #WomenInLaw #Trailblaizers #LegalHistory

What is most profound about this alleged survivor’s statement is the expression of how she experienced “isolation” after the violence. Survivors suffering under isolation many times are in shock and unable to act - resulting in the running of statute of limitations that can bar a victim’s claim.

One hundred and four years ago, the ratification of the 19th Amendment granted American women the right to vote, marking a monumental step toward fulfilling our nation’s core values of dignity, fairness, freedom, and equality. On Women’s Equality Day, we honor the courageous women who fought tirelessly to secure this right, as well as those who continue to work for a more just and equitable future for all women and girls. However, the passage of the 19th Amendment was only the beginning. For many women of color, the right to vote wasn’t fully realized until decades later with the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965. Today, as we continue to face threats to voting rights and challenges to women’s fundamental freedoms, it’s clear that the fight for equality is far from over. These ongoing struggles remind us that our work as a nation is never truly finished; ensuring the full promise of the 19th Amendment remains as crucial now as it was over a century ago. As we reflect on this day, let’s reaffirm our commitment to protecting and advancing the rights of all women. The progress we’ve made must be both celebrated and safeguarded, knowing that the pursuit of equality is a continuous journey. Together, we can ensure that every woman’s voice is heard and every right is upheld. #womensrights #freedom #votingrights #equality
