Allen Stahl + Kilbourne?is excited to expand our Winston-Salem team and is seeking a dedicated associate attorney to join our growing office. We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in general litigation or business/transactional law in North Carolina.? ? As our Winston-Salem office currently includes one attorney and one paralegal, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to help shape and grow our presence in the region.? ? Key Responsibilities: - For General Litigation: Manage and litigate cases from inception through resolution, including conducting research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in court - For Business/Transactional Law: Provide counsel on a range of business matters, including contract drafting and negotiations, regulatory compliance, licensing agreements, etc.? - Develop and implement effective legal strategies - Prepare and review legal documents and agreements - Collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes Qualifications: - J.D. from an accredited law school - Admission to and good standing with the North Carolina Bar - 3-5 years of relevant legal experience - Strong analytical, research, and writing skills - Excellent communication skills - A robust work ethic - Exceptional research and writing abilities - Clerkship or journal experience is preferred but not required.
