We recently hosted a session in collaboration with the US-Asia Technology Management Center at Stanford University, featuring Stanford Professor Emeritus Arogyaswami Paulraj and moderated by Dr. Richard B. Dasher, Director of US-ATMC. Dr. Dasher highlighted the ongoing efforts of the US-ATMC in nurturing innovation among founders in the Asia-Pacific region and emphasized TiE Silicon Valley's pivotal role in fostering entrepreneurship across various sectors, including semiconductors. Ajay Manglani, Chief Operating Officer of TiE Silicon Valley, spoke about the impactful contributions to the lives of 25,000+ entrepreneurs and the influence on wealth creation exceeding $1 trillion globally. Professor Arogyaswami Paulraj shared insights about the challenges and opportunities in building a leadership position for India’s semiconductor industry. He discussed the origins and evolution of the FAB, Fabless, and manufacturing aspects of the semiconductor sector in India. The session offered a unique perspective on how India could position itself as a significant player in the global semiconductor landscape, emphasizing the importance of strategic initiatives and partnerships.
