Asian American Executive Network (AAEN) is an informal networking group designed to bring Asian American Executives and Advocates together to support each other and the Asian American Communities. Asian Americans have reached high level of success in the history of America. Yet, there seems to an unreachable plateau for Asian Americans. Corporate Senior Executive C-level and corporate board positions are elusive and often moving targets. Asian American entrepreneurs also often face the same challenges in maximizing their full potential. Mission Statement: Bring Asian Americans who have strong desire to help others to maximize potential in their Profession and Entrepreneurship by: 1. Encouraging effective business networking within and outside of the AAEN Network. 2. Providing continuing education and leadership skills development opportunities. 3. Developing a supportive and global network of mentors and coaches. 4. Implementing an effective method for AAEN to support other Asian American Community and advocacy programs. 5. Encouraging AAEN Network members to support Global Charities of their choice. Strategic Approach: The Asian American Executive Network seeks and supports other Asian American Community and Advocacy organizations by providing marketing and member participation in their fund-raising and networking events. AAEN also organizes its own Networking events such as Business Round Tables, APA Candidate Meet & Greet, Leadership & Mentoring gathering, and celebration of Holidays and festivals. AAEN events are self-sponsored by participants and organized by volunteers and co-hosts. Impact: Founded in 2013, AAEN has organized, sponsored, and participated in over 70 events impacting 5,000 plus Asian American Executives and Advocates. Global Coverage: While the majority of the AAEN has been held in Chicagoland, AAEN online events also impacted the Asian American communities nationally: Washington DC, Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, Dallas, and Shanghai, China.
