#COP29 | It’s Day 11 at COP29 Azerbaijan, and the spotlight is on #GenderEquality. Women, especially those in developing countries, bear a disproportionate burden of the adverse impacts of climate change. Limited access to finance and financial services significantly heightens women's vulnerability by hampering their ability to adapt and cope effectively. Recognizing that investment in gender-inclusive infrastructure can dramatically improve women’s livelihoods, AIIB’s first Gender Action Plan supports bank staff and clients in integrating the Bank’s gender commitments within project investments in a consistent, high-quality manner.
