Laylat al-Qadr is one of two major holidays celebrated by Muslims, marking the end of Ramadan, a sacred month of daily fasting from before dawn until sunset. This joyous occasion begins with a large, community-wide prayer service in the morning, followed by festive meals and meaningful conversations with friends and family. At ACRS, we honor and support our Muslim staff during this celebration by creating an inclusive environment that respects and values cultural and religious traditions.

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) was established in 1963 and officially recognized in 1984. Social Work Month serves as a time to honor the invaluable contributions of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of others. At ACRS, we extend this recognition to our community workers, who tirelessly advocate for our clients, helping them overcome challenges and hardships. To show our appreciation, ACRS celebrates “Community Workers Week” by offering special perks to our employees, including massages and gifts.

On March 8, 1857, in New York City, female textile workers took to the streets to protest unfair working conditions. This courageous act laid the foundation for what is now celebrated as International Women’s Day. Observed in many countries worldwide, this day honors women’s achievements and the strides made toward gender equality, transcending national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, and political boundaries. Over the years, International Women’s Day has evolved into a global movement, empowering women in both developed and developing nations. At ACRS, we celebrate the contributions of all women of color in the workplace and remain committed to fostering a supportive work environment that promotes a healthy work culture and work-life balance.
