Dear AAGEN SES Community, We are excited to announce the upcoming 2024-2025 AAGEN SES Leadership Development Program, set to kick off its Block 1 training on December 9th. This year, under the leadership of the Program Director, Denise Leung Williams, we aim to continue the proud tradition of developing future leaders. As you know, this program would not be sustainable without your generous support through coaching, mentoring, and volunteering in the past. So, we're reaching out again to ask for volunteers to serve as mentors, speakers, and coaches. This program is a unique opportunity to help shape the next generation of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander federal executives by sharing your expertise, guidance, and experience. Whether you are interested in mentoring an aspiring leader through their leadership journey, sharing your insights as a speaker, or coaching participants at our annual Leadership Workshop, your involvement would make a significant difference in our community's growth and success. If you are interested in volunteering during this season of giving, please reach out to us at?[email protected]. We invite you to a no-host mixer with the incoming cohort members during Block 1. We kindly encourage you to sign up by December 4th to receive additional details about the mixer event. In addition, as the AAGEN Board prepares to celebrate the holiday season in December, we would like to see you at our annual Member Appreciation Dinner on December 8th (registration information forthcoming on our website). Member discount will be extended to all executive volunteers who sign up by December 4th. If you would like to attend, please write to?[email protected]?to receive your code for the dinner event. Thank you in advance for your support and dedication.

At our 25th Anniversary Celebration, we debuted a mini-documentary that our team, led by the amazing Andrew Peng, Rebecca Lee, & Jamie L. spent countless hours researching, and scripting. I am so moved and honored to be part of this lasting legacy and I hope that we can "continue to build bridges, open doors, and break down barriers" for generations to come. Take a look back, to see how far we've come -- and NGL I saw many many cameos of faces in this video :) - do you see yourself in it? Judith T. Last Friday, AAGEN celebrated the graduation of its 13th cohort from its Senior Executive Service Development Program (SES DP). We are inspired by their dedication and the potential they bring to the future of public service. Each of them has demonstrated remarkable commitment to excellence and leadership, and they are poised to be champions of the AAGEN's mission. Their journey through the AAGEN SES DP has equipped them with the tools and insights necessary to lead with integrity and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the government. We are excited to see how they will apply these skills to make impactful changes and inspire the next generation of leaders. Let's continue to support and uplift each other, Class of 2023-24.
