At our 2024 Cash Summit we looked at the opportunities presented by offering #ATM managed services. For example, 'Brown Label ATM services', where a cash management company can operate an #ATM estate on behalf of a Commercial Bank. At the Summit, delegates discussed the advantages of #brownlabelATMs, these include: ?? Improve efficiency ?? Reduce costs ?? Streamline service ?? Improve visibility ?? Remove excess ATMs and deploy them strategically to provide increased reach to a bank's clients and potential clients. Collaboration is key. Our 2024 Cash Summit covered the following key themes: ?? Collaboration is key. Strong collaboration between Cash Management Companies (CMCs), #CentralBanks and #CommercialBanks will produce the best outcome for #cash, ensuring it remains relevant. ?? CMCs need to operate as trusted partners, not just as outsourcing companies, and should have a more formal interaction with the Central Banks to ensure both parties understand how they can collaborate and make the #cashcycle efficient and cost effective. ?? CMCs can become more involved in delivering services for central and Commercial Banks. E.g. By offering brown label #ATMs, crossing selling cash between Commercial Banks and holding Central Bank extended inventory. ?? Last week I had the pleasure to join the Asia Cash Management Association (ACMA) for their inaugural Cash Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was an excellent event that brought together leaders in the Asia-Pacific #cashmanagement industry and central banks to discuss challenges facing the supply of #cash and what can be done to ensure that cash remains relevant and able to serve society. Now we’re hearing from the Bank of Thailand. They are working to combine the whole cash cycle to make it more efficient. Despite Thailand being a very higher user of QR #digital #payments, #cash remains the dominant payment method. It’s a very popular way to pay works, so it’s acceptance will continue for many years to come.
