Happy International Women's Day! At Ashton Thomas, we understand that it's important to think about women in finance on a global scale. ?? Last month, our Women and Wealth Ambassador, Cary Carbonaro, CFP? Professional, MBA, went to Argentina to aid in that exact objective. Outside of her advisory work with ATPW, Cary serves as an Ambassador for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. This year, the CFP Board launched their Global Insights Mission with a trip across Argentina where they met with leaders in economies and financial institutions from around the world. Here you can see Cary and the rest of the CFP Board delegation being welcomed with a ceremony at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina, complete with an address from Abigail L. Dressel, the Charge d’Affaires. You'll also see an image of Cary with Sabrina Castelli, founder of Mujer Financiera, the leading company in financial education for women in Latin America. Understanding of and relationships with global economies will be hugely important for the future of finance. We're so proud to see one of our own trailblazing that future. Way to go, Cary!
