An incredible park and project with purpose. It was an honor to work with The Choice Program at UMBC to create a display for their mosaic. Our only goal was to elevate their beautiful work—it's satisfying to see it in place, where it can be admired by all.
Today, we're proud to dedicate Elijah's Park! ???? Many partners were involved in bringing this living memorial to Congressman Elijah Cummings to life. In partnership with Brandon M. Scott, Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, Comptroller Bill Henry, and the Baltimore Peninsula Partnership, we were grateful for the opportunity to thank the numerous community members who helped design, build and beautify Elijah's Park. This 28,000-square-foot public park features: ?? A beautiful new mural by local artists Jessie & Katey ?? A playground designed by Danish firm MONSTRUM ?? A Black Lives Matter-inspired mosaic by The Choice Program at UMBC As Mayor Brandon Scott said, "It is our hope that this park reminds residents and visitors alike of one of Baltimore’s greatest public servants and honors his legacy for years to come. #BaltimoreDevelopment #ElijahsPark PI.KL Studio Claudia Jolin Chenire Harrell-Carter MAG Partners LP

MBK Rental Living, entrusted with the renovation, is meticulously preserving the Timber School's history while adding contemporary amenities and 218 new apartments. It's a testament to the school's legacy and our commitment to making positive contributions in the communities where we develop.
