    If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun – Dr. Apj Abdul Kalam I love this quote by the great man. Coming from a Service and Technology background always insists me try and solve problems with Technology and keep it reusable and keep doing it no matter how much toll it would take on me, I need to prove that there is a technical solution for it. One such pivotal implementation of our No-Code and AI implementation was Ascertn which was born out of the need for innovation for Democratizing Vendor Risk management. Last week I got an opportunity to pitch Ascertn at the Startup mixer organized Vidhai Accelerator LLP and StartupTN. I had a good time chatting about Ascertn with sameer bharat ram and Sai Ranganathan at the event . I also enjoyed meeting Founders who are 10 to 15 years younger than me, which I would definitely thank Vidhai Accelerator LLP and StartupTN for organizing such enthusiastic events. It was truly inspiring to see the passion and innovative ideas these young entrepreneurs brought to the table. Their energy and fresh perspectives reminded me of why I embarked on this journey in the first place. Ascertn, with its focus on simplifying and revolutionizing Vendor Risk Management through No-Code and AI, garnered a lot of interest. The feedback and support from fellow attendees were invaluable, and it bolstered my confidence in the impact Ascertn can have on the industry. Engaging with a community that shares a similar drive for technological advancement and problem-solving was invigorating. These interactions not only provided insights into emerging trends but also sparked new ideas for future developments. I'm grateful for opportunities like these, where collaboration and innovation are at the forefront, pushing each of us to strive harder and dream bigger. As we continue to develop and refine Ascertn, I look forward to more such enriching experiences that fuel our journey toward making a meaningful difference in the world of technology.     "All learning has an emotional base" Is this quote was from Plato, a Greek philosopher? Well, I am not going there. What is the emotional base behind what I do ? I have two goals in my life. At 18, I began working to support my retired journalist father, learning coding from books (no google) in a time before widespread internet access (256kpbps dial-up) in India. By 2006, I had over six years of experience coding Object Oriented systems for major companies like British Telecom. Despite this, the rejection from hundreds of companies due to my lack of a college degree motivated me to create theecode, a technology firm that prioritizes skills and attitude over formal degrees. In a time when financial markets lacked the boom of IT, I faced a choice between getting a loan to restart my education or continuing my day job, as neither my nor my father's loan applications were approved. With my ?2,000 salary, I pursued distance education but remained determined to learn more about the financial industry and create a product that positively impacts people's lives through technology. That is what Glenzy is all about. I am not an ex-banker so what, I have built financial systems from ground up for biggies like BT, Thomson, Geico, CanCapital , Corevest and many more and the mission continues.     What is happening today globally with Microsoft Windows BSOD, aka the infamous Blue Screen of Death with CrowdStrike Falcon sensor update is a classic and notable example of a “single point of failure” in vendor risk which involves reliance on a service provider without due-diligence. Many businesses today depend heavily on cloud services for their data storage, application hosting, security updates, patches and various IT functions. While cloud service providers offer scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency, entrusting all critical operations to one provider can be precarious. If that sole provider experiences a downtime due to technical failures, cyber-attacks, or natural disasters, the business relying on them may face significant operational disruptions, data loss, or even complete shutdowns. This scenario can lead to financial losses, reputational damage, and compliance breaches. To mitigate this risk, businesses should consider implementing a well-documented and tested disaster recovery plan. By distributing workloads across multiple cloud providers, organizations can ensure that if one provider fails, others can seamlessly take over, ensuring continuity of operations. Additionally, regular audits and assessments of the cloud providers’ security measures, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contingency plans can provide deeper insights into their reliability and readiness to handle crises.
