Grateful for being awarded a CoStar Group Impact Award - Commercial Development of the Year. One of the reasons for moving back to my hometown of El Paso was knowing that I (and my partners) could make an impact by bringing offerings that are common in primary cities but much less common in secondary and tertiary cities. As the article alludes, designing above the market was a chance we took that ultimately paid off. Not just financially, but it is gratifying hearing the remarks of residents and potential residents. Beyond the architecture (Humphreys & Partners Architects), the heartbeat of the property is fueled by the property management team. RPM Living and the onsite team make Desert Commons what it is - a luxury, convenient, and lively place to live. Building through COVID-19 presented us with many challenges, from supply chain to material and labor inflation, but the end-result speaks for itself and am grateful for Chris Malooly and the entire EPX Construction Partners team for getting Desert Commons to the (near) finish line.
