  • Our fourth annual?AHG?Has?Your?Back — in partnership with?Amazon and Amazon Fresh -– was a smash success on Saturday, August 17! Students in need from four nonprofits had an afternoon of fun at the “AHG?Has?Your?Back End of Summer Block Party” at the Amazon Fresh store parking lot in Bellevue. ? Each recipient took home a fully stocked, custom?backpack and were given the opportunity to “dream big” by personalizing their pack with everything from keychains and patches to work by professional airbrush artists, play games including a?pop-a-shot, giant Jenga, and carnival games, dance to beats by DJ Tazz Enrico of?The Residency, enjoy snacks from Amazon Fresh, and savor a complimentary lunch from Famous Dave’s BBQ.? ? “For the fourth year in a row, it?has?been our honor at AHG to partner with Amazon and Amazon Fresh to provide this amazing?backpack experience to children in our community who need it most,” said Elaina Morris,?AHG?CEO and president. “This years’?AHG?Has Your?Back?Block Party strove to ‘dream big’ and throw kids the party of the year, with free lunch from Famous Dave’s BBQ, lots of games, and the opportunity to personalize their?backpacks to showcase who they are. Together with Amazon and Amazon Fresh,?AHG?is committed to ensuring our community’s students in need go?back?to school with the swagger and confidence they deserve!”
