Ascend leadership and Board members recently attended the America's Credit Unions Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), the largest credit union advocacy event of the year. Ascend was part of a delegation that met with state leaders to discuss issues impacting Tennessee credit union members. We thank all government officials involved that took the time to discuss issues impacting credit unions and their members.

In December, Ascend served as the title sponsor of the River of Hope Radiothon, an annual event hosted by 107.5 "The River" that raises funds for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Ascend President and CEO, Matt Jernigan, joined the The River’s Morning Show Team to help fundraise for the cause.
