    The Ascen team is having a great time this week at the Recruitment Agency Expo in London. Many of our customers are UK recruitment agencies expanding to the States. There are many EORs out there, but very few focus only on recruitment agencies like Ascen, so RecExpo is always a great time to connect to ambitious agencies. Shockingly, 30% of US employers have misclassified workers, resulting in substantial penalties, including fines and legal liabilities. This article will help you understand the differences between W-2 employees, 1099 contractors, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) workers. Correct classification not only ensures compliance but also protects your agency from financial and reputational risks. Here's a quick overview of what you need to know: 1.
