Last month, we joined with ASCE Jacksonville Branch (YMG), ASCE West Coast Branch (YMG) and ASCE Gainesville Branch (YMG) for a fun day at Silver Springs! This past weekend two of our officers (Dayna Duffy, PE and Brittni Stewart, PE) had the opportunity to travel to Reston, VA and attend the Younger Member Leadership Symposium hosted by ASCE Younger Members on at ASCE Headquarters. This conference teaches leadership and soft skills including stress and time management, communication styles, presenting and networking. These skills allow our officer board to grow as leaders within our YMF and their careers. They also met Younger Member leaders and ASCE staff from all over the country!
