The Western Slope Branch of the ASCE Colorado Section is hosting a fantastic event on Tuesday, April 8th at 5 PM at the new Grand Junction Rec Center Project Site (39.096265, -108.528733). We will have a tour of the project site by City of Grand Junction Directors, together with construction and design update details. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to meet a wonderful group of leaders from ASCE Region 7 who will visit us that day: Erin Steever, PE, ENV SP, F.ASCE, ASCE Region 7 Director, Caleb Stock, PE, ASC Region 7 Governor, and Wanxin (Rachel) Huang, P.E., ASCE Colorado Section President. Thanks to Ulises D. Techera Ph.D., ASCE Western Slope Colorado Branch President, for setting up this event!

I had the honor of representing the ASCE Kansas City Section as their Younger Member Group delegate this past weekend at the ASCE Multi-Region Leadership Conference in Cleveland. Thanks to the ASCE Cleveland Section for hosting and putting on such great events! Proud of the KC YMG for winning best Small Younger Member Group this year as well as receiving a grant for student engagement and activities.
