关于我们
The Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) is ASCE’s technical source for environmental and water-related issues. Visit the national website for more detailed information about EWRI’s mission. The EWRI Houston chapter provides a platform to discuss environmental and water-related topics in the Houston-Galveston region with opportunities for members to connect. Topics include water supply, wastewater treatment, floodplain management, groundwater, erosion and geomorphology, stormwater, water quality, nature-based solutions, ecology, coastal resiliency, ecosystem restoration, meteorology and climate, and others. Our events and activities include monthly technical tours, lunches and webinars, social happy hours, student outreach, and volunteerism. Each year culminates in our November conference with 200+ attendees and 20+ government, non-profit, and academic speakers. Consider getting involved with EWRI Houston as a member, committee co-chair, sponsor, or simply by showing up and connecting with colleagues from the region. Events are listed below and in the ASCE calendar. Follow us on LinkedIn for the latest announcements and updates.
