On Sunday, October 20th, and Sunday, October 27th, #AsburyMethodistVillage proudly hosted its annual Music for the Mission concert series, bringing together the community for two incredible performances that benefited the Benevolent Care Program. This year’s events featured unforgettable performances by the Four Seasons Dancers and the Alexandria Harmonizers, who had the audience cheering for more after each show! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, patrons, and all who attended, more than $82,000 was raised to support residents in need through the Benevolent Care Program. A big congratulations to the #AsburyMethodistVillage maintenance associates who recently completed a Motor Controls class led by Vito Bellafiore, SMT, Master Electrician and Director of Plant Operations & Maintenance. These associates gained valuable skills in electrical, motor, and mechanical devices and learned how to apply them to automated systems and industrial control circuits. This training was made possible through the support of a specific purpose fund, which provided funds for the textbooks and workbooks. We are incredibly grateful to our generous donors who make diverse opportunities for #learning and growth possible across #AsburyCommunities. At this year's #CaringClassic golf tournament, leaders from Asbury Communities, Inc. showcased some stark contrasts in confidence heading into their rounds. From some predicting they'd shoot a 212 (just a reminder, in golf, a high score isn't exactly a bragging point!) to others confidently claiming they'd win the tournament, the day was filled with fun and friendly competition.
