A partisan push for a long-term Continuing Resolution (CR) is rolling out a red carpet for unchecked executive control over federal spending. If passed, a long-term CR would hand the Administration a blank check, allowing unilateral changes to essential federal programs—programs that support everything from the EPA and FDA to community development, Indigenous economic initiatives, and women-owned businesses.
