I'm honored to be working as an EP on My Dearest Artsakh, a documentary from Balin Schneider and arvonia films that sheds light on the stories of Armenians displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh—a humanitarian crisis that too often goes unnoticed. This project has been a labor of love, done in partnership with the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies. Our goal has been to bring visibility to a community facing displacement and the threat of cultural erasure. On?November 2nd, USC will host?Artsakh Uprooted: Aftermaths of Displacement, a day-long symposium dedicated to unpacking the impact of this crisis. I invite you to join us for this event, which will bring together scholars such as Viet Thanh Nguyen, USC’s Aerol Arnold Chair of English and Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Sympathizer, advocates, and firsthand voices from Artsakh to explore the challenges of displacement and the importance of cultural preservation.
