ArtStream offers performance opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), including autism. ArtStream’s classes, workshops, and performing companies fuel each student’s imagination, creativity, and focus. And that’s not all. Students improve communication and social skills and develop friendships. Newly discovered talents and capabilities improve self-esteem, poise, and confidence that extend into their daily lives. All students are valued for their creative contributions. ArtStream’s demanding and very entertaining process encourages students to find their voices, discover their creativity and strengths, and perform with confidence!

Virginia Company A (Arlington, VA) Rehearsals: Thursdays, Sept 19, 2024 - March 13, 2025 Location: Arlington Presbyterian Church Performances: March 22 & 23, 2025 at HB Woodlawn Silver Spring Company B (Rockville, MD) Rehearsals: Tuesdays, Dec 10, 2024 - May 27, 2025 Location: Twinbrook Community Center Performances: June 7 & 8, 2025 at Silver Spring Black Box Theatre About the Job As a Stage Manager, you’ll support the artistic team, producer, and actors (including actors with disabilities) throughout rehearsals and performances. Responsibilities include communication with staff, overseeing the technical process, acquiring props, and more!
