关于我们
Arts Impact offers students a path to self-expression and unique ways of learning through arts integration and project-based learning. We design and implement residencies in schools throughout Greater Cleveland. Arts Impact has developed a niche using the arts to teach STEM concepts. We know artists are seekers, risk takers, question askers and problem solvers. We want students to embrace these qualities and find them in their own lives, especially as they explore project-based learning in today’s classrooms. We connect teachers to new methods, artists to community, and students to deeper learning experiences by providing creative platforms that integrate art into all subject areas. We enrich the learning process by using the arts to explore topics across the curriculum, inspiring students to build self esteem and increase academic achievement. Arts Impact also provides arts programs after school and during the summer at libraries and community organizations throughout Northeast Ohio. Our out-of-school time programs can also be designed with one of our arts-integrated program themes, including Hip–Hop, STEM to STEAM, and Social and Emotional Learning. Arts Impact introduces a wide range of art forms, from sculpture and mixed media to contemporary dance and photography. We provide all supplies and equipment needed for our residency projects, including: professional artist-educators, fine art materials, Apple laptops, digital drawing tablets, iPads, and all other supplies or equipment. In addition, we offer professional development, family engagement workshops, and student-based art installations. Contact us to bring the inspiration and creativity of Arts Impact into your classrooms, library branches, and community centers!

Stephen recently led a hip-hop and grafitti workshop with Youth Challenge, an organization that provides activities for young people with physical disabilities and their teen volunteer partners. Youth Challenge’s Program Coordinator shared: “Stephen was very knowledgeable and had high energy that made the kids listen intently to every word he said. I felt the project he brought for our program was at the perfect level for our kid's abilities. We want more collaboration with Arts Impact!” Check out more summer happenings in our July recap here: https://conta.cc/46rKDay [Images: Stephen kneels next to a Youth Challenge participant who proudly shows off his album design. We're crossing the finish line of this school year with immense pride! We officially expanded our Intensive Arts Integration Project to include 7 classrooms between Paul L. Dunbar Arts Enrichment Academy and Wilbur Wright PK-8. This new approach involved our artist-educators spending 30-45 hours in the classroom, during which they utilized various arts disciplines and exciting lessons to boost students' understanding of science, math, language arts, social studies, and more. Check out some of the projects from this new approach in our May Recap: https://conta.cc/3V5j29G [Images: Student poses with ceramic flower pot; students show off their shadow puppet box; students hold up their squares of the class's history of Ohio quilt.] #ArtsIntegration #StudentArt #Ceramics #ShadowBox

Today our building neighbors from Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District visited our studio to make some art! They created unique tiles as part of a mural project they’ll be offering soon. We’re delighted to partner with them and can’t wait to see – and share – their mural when it’s done.
