The EACC Florida - European American Chamber of Commerce Florida recently organized a captivating panel discussion which I attended yesterday on Tech Policy in the EU and US, focusing on Regulatory Challenges & Business Opportunities for the Industry. The event featured guest-speaker Johannes Bahrke, Digital Counselor at the EU Delegation to the United States, engaging in dialogue with Dr. Victor Lozinski, Co-Founder and President of the Board at LeverX. The insightful conversation delved into the challenges and opportunities facing the tech industry in Florida and across the Atlantic, particularly in the context of the new Trump Administration. Great discussion on the status of the ‘EU AI Act’, and there was a valuable exchange shedding light on the evolving landscape of technology policy and its implications for businesses on both sides of the ocean.

Art Meets Nature in the Everglades ?? What happens when artists immerse themselves in one of the world’s most unique ecosystems for a month? The AIRIE (Artists in Residence in Everglades) program gives creatives the space to explore the Everglades and respond through their work—resulting in thought-provoking pieces that reflect history, identity, and environmental interconnectedness. The "Land-Learning" exhibition at the AIRIE Nest Gallery showcases these powerful works, from @Khari Turner’s use of Everglades water in his paintings to Sydney Rose Maubert’s tribute to Black South Floridian history and Gal Nissim’s surreal exploration of human-nature duality.
