Incorporating public art into communities creates a more welcoming and engaging environment for all! This public mural at Curative Austin transforms their downtown parking garage into a celebration of ATX identity, complete with the iconic Austin monk parakeet and native wildflowers. Even better, this mural was created and painted by local women artisans, led by artist Britt Johnson. See this mural become reality in the video below!

A+A in the field! Art Consultant Melissa Spence traveled to Grand Rapids for ArtPrize this September, where she connected with new artists and discovered beautiful artwork displayed aroun the city in shops, restaurants, businesses, hotels, and parks. In October, Creative Director Inda l. Hahn and CEO Jennifer Brener Seay visited Cincinnati to learn emerging art technologies, explore public art's relationship with community and collaborate with other creative leaders at the CODAworx CODAsummit.
