Title: Solution Architect (SA)

Summary: The Solution Architect (SA) is responsible for leading solution architecture & design for various projects focusing on the effectiveness, design, and development of solutions for complex application problems and architecture. This role focuses on defining and verifying the stability, portability, security, or scalability of systems applications across the enterprise.
The position provides leadership direction and accountability for strategic application architecture plans, system design, and implementation. The Solution Architect works closely with Enterprise Architects and other Solution architects determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems in the portfolio, and recommends how to proceed with the applications (e.g., replace, retire, maintain, etc.).

Essential Functions:
Job Leadership:
Design, update and test the technical architecture from the solutioning point of view.
Participate all the required discussion to empower the development team.
Collaborate and guide engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
Communicate and partner with internal team members and senior stakeholders to understand specific system requirements and provides recommendations and technical guidance.
Define and analyze objectives, overall scope issues, and organizational impacts of systems.
Incorporates SOA/re-usability principles into enterprise architecture design, including identifying opportunities for common services and services reuse.
Proven track record in designing and deploying architectural solutions in one or more cloud platforms (AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure).
Engage various stakeholders and discuss about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented.
Partners with fellow architects, engineers, and security to direct the development and operation of systems and can translate business needs into system development.
Strong hands-on experience building applications on the AWS using Java, Spring, Kafka, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and new relic or similar tools.
Understanding of SAP RISE and SAP tools such as BTP and technical modules such as SD/FICO/OM/Pricing preferred.
AWS Solution Architect Certificate is Preferred.
