Tool of the Week???? TITLES This week, we took Titles for a spin, blending Artist and the Machine with the worlds crafted by artists through their custom models hosted on the platform. Titles, co-founded by S?ren Wrenn and Parker Seagren, is a tool that might have finally cracked a way for creators and designers to work with their favourite?artist’s styles. This model lets artists create and share custom AI models of their own work, keeping credit where it’s due and even getting paid when their work fuels the machine. Meanwhile, creators get to pick and choose from these AI models to generate images, making it a rare win-win in the world of AI art. Hayao Miyazaki is going to be mad at us… We never expected OpenAI’s latest image generation update to spark a full-blown Studio Ghibli trend, but here we are. Twitter is currently a Spirited Away fever dream, and we can’t help but recall Miyazaki’s haunting words on #AI from a 2016 meeting: “I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself.” Not to be distracted by the existential whimsy of it all, GPT 4o can now produce accurate text on imagery, as well as generating some of the best imagery from prompts we’ve seen to date. In early testing it seems that Midjourney may be in serious trouble, as this update really does look incredible.
