The Infinite Future of Art and Creativity in the Age of AI. I recently made a compelling and collective call to action urging all my fellow talented artists, artisans and cross-disciplinary creators around the world to join the Artisan-e Creator Program and to fully participate in the seismic AI revolution that is rapidly redefining the global art and creative economy. I believe in the limitless Age of AI, we as pioneering artists, artisans and creators are the new, bold and brave Futurists of our time. To paraphrase the Italian poet, art theorist and founder of Futurist movement Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, we are no longer constrained by time and space for we are surpassing the realms of the absolute by creating infinite possibilities and exciting new realities at omnipresent speeds. I concur that our nascent and evolving AI artistic and creative experimentations are acting as a multifaceted accelerant with a trajectory to supercharge modernity, technology and revolutionize the digital and physical continuum of all future products as foreshadowed by the original Futurists. The striking themes of the urgency of this singular moment in time and the speed of change are encapsulated in an insightful book titled Infinite Future by Theo Scherman. It appears as if the future has ominously condensed its timeline and is unusually arriving at an unprecedented speed in the next few years to peak at 2030 and in its wake will create fundamental disruptive changes across all industries and impacting societies at a scale that was inconceivable before the dawn of the Age of AI. This is clearly the best time to step forward and to begin to take action with my fellow talented artists, artisans and creators who are fully developing a symbiotic relationship with AI and literally creatively fusing with the Deus Ex Machina, “god of the machine” to infinitely maximize their artistry, creativity and craftsmanship. I believe together we can fearlessly confront the uncertain near future and take charge of the visual and meta narratives that will influence the high stake physical outcomes of the Age of AI with the aim to reap the tremendous benefits of the projected multi-trillion AI surplus and to further maintain our artistic agency and in essence, our very fundamental creative freedoms. Together we can boldly envision and build an infinite future with an AI artistic and creative renaissance that can greatly benefit us all. Finally, I conclude at Artisan-e that AI is a technological leap that is uniquely our medium and message drawing on the communication concept by Marshall McLuhan. This is the time to fully consider the rapid and creative breakthroughs and the importance of permissionless innovation. Ultimately, this ongoing dialogue of human ingenuity, paired with emerging technologies will open new frontiers globally while still preserving the true essence of what makes us uniquely human.
