We love alarms, like those you can set on your phone (and label so you remember why it's going off). They are great for reminding you to take your medicine, pick up your kid, or call a friend. Alarms are valuable because the whole idea is to set it and forget it, until the alarm reminds you. ? Setting an alarm is akin to Artifcting--once you've started Artifcting, you're ready for fires, floods, and theft. You're ready for the inevitability of death and taxes, too. Because as you capture those great stories and memories, your Artifcts also contain the details that matter most when #insurance, #estate, and tax matters arise. Right? ? If you're feeling unsure, join us over on ARTIcles?by Artifcts where we're covering the details that matter most in your Artifcts when you are working to update your insurance coverage and be prepared for anything. We've also resurfaced "True or False" questions from our Evenings with Artifcts with Howard Insurance to test your knowledge of all things #insurance, perhaps reveling some thorny topics to talk to your insurance agent about next time you meet. https://lnkd.in/gtbpkmUZ Artifct today to be better prepared for tomorrow. #agetech #legacybuilding #estateplanning

关于我们
We are facing one of the greatest wealth transfers in history—the Baby Boomers are expected to pass to their children more than $3 trillion worth of durable assets. That’s a lot of 'stuff,' or in estate parlance, "tangible assets." Artifcts was created to ensure that the histories, stories, and value behind all that we collect and accumulate in life is captured, so we know what it is, why it matters, and what we’ll do with it next. Artifcts is an award winning, patented, web- and mobile based platform. Artifcts is a proud member of the AARP AgeTech Collaborative and Mass Challenge – Early Stage Cohort. Artifcts has been recognized for its contributions to keeping us connected as we age and supporting family history and genealogy. #storysharing #keepthememories #collectionmanagement #legacy #familyhistory #morethananobject #humanmedia1.0

In honor of #veteransday, Artifcts? and the Special Operations Charity Network (SOCN) are partnering to offer a unique opportunity to preserve and share the history & memories of military personnel and veterans for future generations. Veterans Day is a time for reflection on service and sacrifice, and there is no better way to honor that commitment than by capturing these stories for those who will come after. Sharing your story can also have #mentalhealth benefits. Reflecting on and preserving experiences can promote healing and foster stronger family and community connections. Example Artifcts include: - A photograph with a story behind it - Memorabilia from a military station or deployment - Official documents, awards, patches, and more - Family heirlooms with military significance - Books or music that inspired you during or post service ARE YOU A VETERAN or do you have a veteran who may want to participate to capture their stories? Send us a DM or contact us at [email protected]. JOIN US to help preserve our military and veterans’ legacies, supporting well-being and community connection for future generations. #VeteransDay #HonorTheirLegacy #PreserveHistory #MilitaryMemories #SOCNPartnership #StoriesOfService #VeteransVoices #MilitaryHeritage #LegacyForFutureGenerations #HealingThroughStorytelling #CommunityConnections #MilitaryFamily #VeteranStories #SupportingOurVeterans #MilitaryLegacy #MemoriesOfService #VeteransWellbeing

Artifcts? and brain health, who knew! We cannot say we set out to address the cognitive and behavioral health aspects of the 'stuff' we collect, but within months of launching Artifcts, we knew Artifcts had unique contributions to these areas. While our brain health study is ongoing (Are you 65+? You may qualify to join us: https://lnkd.in/gVRdZ-Hw), we continue to collaborate with our friends at Hilarity for Charity (HFC) as well by leading caregiver lounges. This week's lounge, led by our cofounder Ellen Goodwin, will introduce Artifcts to a 15-25 year old audience as a means of capturing not only their own stories and memories but also as an easy and fun way to work with those to whom they provide companion care, too. We encourage you check out the abundance of brain health and caregiver support resources at https://wearehfc.org/ and as the year comes to an end, consider a tax-free donation as well.

We've just emerged from an amazing fall conference season, and believe it or not, 2025 is already firmly on the docket. You'll be seeing us pop up across industries where 'stuff' is an undeniable force in our lives and we want to help make it a positive force! Stay tuned for more on where and when we'll be as well as various classes and stage presentations and keynotes we'll be delivering. Since we just got through all the paperwork (phew!)... for all those family history and genealogy lovers out there, our cofounder Ellen Goodwin will be taking the stage at the annual RootsTech conference from FamilySearch along side Cathi Nelson, founder and CEO of The Photo Managers, to discuss strategies for caregivers to those with dementia to capture family stories. Join the class and say hello if you're attending! More about the event: https://lnkd.in/gGKaK-68 #genealogy #familyhistory #familystories #keepthememories #dementia #brainhealth #artifctthat

In the same day that someone asked us, "What if I have declutter rage, but it's not my 'stuff", we also had a friend send us this article from Business Insider titled, "Boomers Spent Their Lives Accumulating Stuff. Now Their Kids Are Stuck With It." (Subscribe for a $1 to read it! https://lnkd.in/dB58wD6Z) WE GET IT! WE ARE HERE TO SOLVE *THIS* PROBLEM. If we could, we'd put up a billboard in Times Square to tell you Artifcts? has your back. In the case of our friend, she's coming to terms with the fact that even if her parents are not willing to think ahead to relieve the burden of 'stuff' from her shoulders, SHE can do something about it, one Artifct at a time. Don't wait for crisis - a forced move into assisted living, a death. Then you will be rushed into decisions and not be in the right state of mind even to think about (1) what is this (2) what does it mean to me, and (3) what do I want to do with it next. You will lose that golden opportunity to not just preserve the value of your life's collections (and accumulations, ahem) but to capture and share the memories that go with it all. We are here to transform our relationships with our 'stuff' and each other. JOIN US! And if you don't believe us, here if from one of the people at the pinnacle of the move management industry, in this ARTIcles by Artifcts story: https://lnkd.in/e6dtJSVx #HolidayGift #SwedishDeathCleaningApp #YourLegacy #CollectionManagement #FamilyHistory #KeepTheMemories #EstatePlanning

Artifcts? was at the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers conference as hurricane #Helene bore down on the southern US. And in the stress of it all, we commiserated with our friend David MacMahan of FairSplit Inc, each of our founders having personal ties to affected areas of North Carolina. We discussed the imperative that we do better to use the best of tech to support each other and offer comfort, too. We implore you to make your inventory today, and don't forget the memories: https://lnkd.in/dWce6iEt

You know Artifcts?, we’re all about connecting people across generations. And if you take a moment to scan the bleachers and sidelines, you know that sports have a magical ability to do just that, bringing families and whole communities together. Our founders are often on the sidelines, cheering on their kids, but it's fun to get caught up in the NFL's Monday night football and college game days (Go, Longhorns!), too. It's about the memories and the experiences we'll carry with us and help shape us into team players and more resilient humans, too! Check out our latest ARTIcles by Artifcts story about sports + all that 'stuff' that goes with it + how to keep the memories while maybe letting go of some of that (no-longer-used) sports gear. https://lnkd.in/gcEmPunE #decluttering #collegesports #teamsports #favoritememories
