In the same day that someone asked us, "What if I have declutter rage, but it's not my 'stuff", we also had a friend send us this article from Business Insider titled, "Boomers Spent Their Lives Accumulating Stuff. If we could, we'd put up a billboard in Times Square to tell you Artifcts? has your back. In the case of our friend, she's coming to terms with the fact that even if her parents are not willing to think ahead to relieve the burden of 'stuff' from her shoulders, SHE can do something about it, one Artifct at a time. Don't wait for crisis - a forced move into assisted living, a death. Then you will be rushed into decisions and not be in the right state of mind even to think about (1) what is this (2) what does it mean to me, and (3) what do I want to do with it next.
