#FounderSpotlight Let’s talk about Sean Green, CEO & Co-Founder of ARTERNAL; a vertical SaaS CRM and inventory management platform to help art dealers leverage better technology to remove daily admin and bring about efficiency in their sales workflow. Born in Jamaica and raised in Toronto, Sean’s entrepreneurial spirit has been cultivating since he was young. Following his mother as she ran the family maid-service business, and watching her every move taught Sean invaluable lessons in #grit & #determination, and about the art of managing relationships: key #LeadershipSkills for an aspiring entrepreneur. [1] From partnering with friends to establish a hedge fund in the currency markets, to connecting homeowners with quality contractors with his second startup; Sean has been a part of two other ventures where he learned the ropes of entrepreneurship on the job. [2] It is #empathy which took Sean into the world of art. He founded ARTERNAL to help his friend who quit her job to be a full-time artist to help her meet her goals. [3] Sean coined the word #ArtTech in 2021 as a way to foster an understanding that technology can assist the workflow for the art market. [3] He credits his co-founder Steve Miller for ushering him into the world of art and giving him opening into deals & networks which took ARTERNAL to new heights of success. [4] After two pivots and three name changes, Sean & team have taken ARTERNAL from a CRM solution to becoming the first SaaS embedded #fintech platform for the art world while positioning itself to be the global platform for private sales.
