Today marks Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to honor the memories of those whose lives were lost to anti-transgender violence. Here at Artemis Center, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a world of dignity, respect, safety, and equality for all.
关于我们
We are Dayton's Domestic Violence Resource Agency. Since 1985, Artemis Center has empowered survivors of domestic violence to make decisions and choices that will establish and maintain safety for themselves and their children. By working collaboratively with other community services, Artemis Center advocates are able to coordinate needed services, free of charge, to survivors. Additionally, community education and advocacy programs help to create community best practice responses for survivors of domestic violence. Our Hotline is available 24/7 at (937) 461-HELP

This holiday season, we need your support. The effects of domestic violence create far reaching hardships for survivors and their children; one of which can be knowing how to provide and create a magical holiday with limited resources. That is why we are inviting those who can, to be a part of our Building Hope Holiday Program as a donor to our families in need. Share the warmth of the season and bring holiday cheer to those who need our support. To learn more about how you can participate, visit our website or give us a call. Like and share this post.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month—a time to shine a light on the urgent need for safety, support, and justice for survivors in our community. Domestic violence affects people of all backgrounds and ages, often in silence. Raising awareness helps break down stigma, encourages open conversations, and brings us closer to a future where everyone is safe from violence. Let’s stand together, spread awareness, and be allies for those who need it most. #DVAM #BreaktheCycle #ArtemisCenter

Emotional abuse is just as valid and harmful as physical abuse, often leaving deep psychological scars that can last long after physical wounds have healed. Both forms of abuse can profoundly impact a person's mental health and well-being. #BreakTheCycle #DomesticViolenceAwarenessMonth #ArtemisCenter
